Entry routes, accommodation and scenario preparation
Bring official entry checks, solo/family preparation and host questions together. This generates preparation tasks, not eligibility, property certification or safety guarantees.
Organise checks for your situation
Enter no nationality-document or identity data. Keep accommodation unconfirmed until the host explains the category; do not infer it from a homestay label.
Official entry-check navigation
Prepare the full itinerary for official checking
Check citizenship, document type/validity, purpose, entry/exit points, dates and onward destination in your own records. This site takes no document number.
Identify which official route to check
Consult current NIA policies and the responsible mission for visa, visa-free or transit routes. Purpose and itinerary can change the conditions; this site makes no eligibility decision.
Recheck before departure and keep alternatives
Confirm official requirements and carrier boarding checks separately. Ask NIA 12367 and the mission about unresolved conditions. This checklist or an arrival card is not permission.
Navigation to checks and official channels only; no decision for government or carrier.
Host questions and travel-party checklist
Ask the host for the Chinese address and arrival point
Keep the Chinese name, full address, entrance and contact route offline. Ask how late arrival or a failed contact is handled.
Ask about reception for your actual document and arrival
Ask whether your document type is accepted, what check-in needs and who is on duty; enter no document here. A property or homestay label is not verified reception.
Ask the host which registration process applies
Hotels and other domiciles follow different processes. The word homestay does not decide the category. Ask who registers, when and how first-time assistance works.
Check walking and access segment by segment
Ask about steps, lifts and a continuous usable route at the actual entrance and pickup point. A map area or label does not establish the access you need.
Keep emergency and translation alternatives
China emergency numbers: police 110, fire 119, ambulance 120. Keep your location and a short Chinese help phrase offline; English assistance is not assumed. NIA 12367 is immigration advice, not an emergency number.
A preparation checklist verifies no property's reception, safety or health suitability. Confirm unknowns with the relevant authority or actual host.
